My interest in art started early. I was drawn to the trees in my neighborhood they were always filled with color, movement and light. I lived in the city most of the year. In the summer I would spend time in the country in upstate New York. My paintings reflected the trees, sky and lakes. They were filtered through my dreams and imagination.
While studying art, I was highly influenced by Impressionism, Surrealism and Pop Art. I paint with watercolor, gouache or acrylic. Everything moves and changes in my paintings. After college I lived to New Orleans until the storm. I then returned to the East Coast. Many of my art pieces have been in numerous exhibits in museums, galleries and universities. My paintings are meant to allow the viewer a space to create their own dreams.
